In-Flight Operations 1.0

Ever completed a flight in Infinite Flight and desired a more objective method to evaluate your performance? Maybe an easier way to document your flight for your Virtual Airline?

In-Flight Operations offers a beautifully simple approach to creating ACARS-style flight reports for your Infinite Flight journeys. It is not a flight simulator itself, but rather seamlessly integrates with Infinite Flight to gather flight information.

An additional feature of In-Flight Operations allows you to select background music corresponding to the current phase of your flight! Choose "Danger Zone" for takeoff or some calming tunes for cruising. The choice is yours.

In-Flight Operations is the latest addition to the In-Flight app series by John Goering, following In-Flight Assistant (soundscapes for IF) and In-Flight Instruments (live instruments for IF).

HOW TO USE

• Launch the app and enter Infinite Flight, ensuring that "Infinite Flight Connect" is enabled in the General Settings.
• Optionally, customize background music for different flight phases.
• Begin your flight report by activating seatbelt and "no smoking" signs while the engine is off (or by starting the engines if your aircraft lacks seatbelt signs).
• Proceed with your flight from start to finish. Upon shutting down the engines (and turning off seatbelt and "no smoking" signs if applicable), In-Flight Operations will signal you with a pleasant chime to generate your report.

PARAMETERS IN THE REPORT

• Departure/Arrival Airport & Runway
• Departure, Takeoff, Landing, Arrival Times in Zulu and local time
• Total Flight Time
• Fuel Usage in kg or lbs (from taxiing to enroute)
• Takeoff / Landing Speed
• Takeoff N1%
• Takeoff / Landing Flaps
• Cruise Altitude
• Final Approach V/S, Speed, Glideslope & Localizer Deviation
• Takeoff / Landing Nose Angle
• Max Bank Angle
• Flight Route, detailing Speed/Heading/Altitude per Waypoint
